Question Problem when trying to go into SP

A large problem ive been having when trying to WILD and go into SP, is that my throat keeps building either mucus or just saliva forcing me to keep swallowing and alter my breathing pattern a bit.

For the most part im perfectly still and I can feel my body getting numb but that annoying sensation of having to swallow (I think) is keeping me out of SP and is becoming frustrating.

Any thoughts or suggestions at all will help, thanks guys.

      Weird.
Usually saliva usually flows when you are smelling or tasting food. Maybe you are still hungry when you go to bed? Do you think about food a lot?

If you're on your side or front, tip your head more towards the pillow so your saliva drips onto the pillow or a towel. Gross, but it works great for me.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

It might all be in the mind; if you're thinking about swallowing then you will more than likely need to swallow. Try and take your thoughts off it some how.

Take a towel, (Or Pillow) Set it behind your head so that your head is tilted up slightly, This may cause the saliva to drip down your throat on its own without swallowing. Works with me (well, Something like that) It also does not help if you think about swallowing.

I get very close to SP, with all the vibrations and everything, but I never actually get there. What gives?

Not everyone experiences SP the same.
I personally start feeling numb and my movements get heavy. I also feel really relaxed and tired. I also start to hear songs or peoples voices faintly every so often. During RB I also see vivid images of things when my eyes are closed.

      Its different for everyone.

Takes forever for me. If I use WBTB I fall asleep within minutes, if not seconds. But if I got to bed for the first time that night, it takes at least an hour.
