This was something that was never adequately explained to me, and I've been on DV for four months now. After reading through ETWOLD, it has finally been explained to me what a dream sign is. A dream sign does NOT have to be a SPECIFIC recurring element in one's dreams. Up until now, I have always assumed this to be true. In reality, however, any small thing out of the ordinary can constitute as a dream sign. LaBerge suggests searching for dream signs under certain categories, e.g. strange objects, situations, characters, settings, etc. Look for the most common types of oddities in your dreams, and spend the most time focusing on the top two or three categories. |

Good point. Training yourself to spot dream signs, and by dream signs i mean things out of the ordinary in dreams is a very tedious task. It takes a lot of real life input before it carries over to your dreams. It was very difficult for me to become lucid by doing RC's but i managed it, however i found that the quality was not that good and that it was better to just WILD. |

Finding my dream sign(s) is number four on my list. Thanks to your information, I can now do this with more ease. Thank you :3 |

Yeah thats true but i also think should pay attention do the recurring stuff too cause that can help you get lucid also i think but then again its always diffrent from person to person |
