Yeah, your friend is wrong. Chances of your friend dreaming about you if you haven't seen each other in so long are already slim enough (unless she is obsessed with you). Now the chances of her having the same dream as you are just way too low.

I don't think dreaming about someone you haven't thought about or dreamt about for years would be a connection to them, sorry to say. You could try contacting them, but they're just going to think you're crazy for calling out of the blue to ask if she had a particular dream.

In other words, I advise the same as everyone else in the thread thus far - it'd be best not to look too deep into the possibility of her having a similar or any kind of significant dream, and not to contact her just based on the dream.
