Make sure to take the time to stabilize your dream as soon as you become lucid. I didn't last long either until I started to rub my hands together hard throughout every lucid dream. Every time I feel myself slip even a little, I begin to rub my hands. I've found that the harder I rub them together, the better it works.

Are these dreams ending with you waking up, or becoming non-lucid?

Pair up your waking reality checks with waking stabilization techniques. Immerse your senses, in real life. Notice the details, color contrasts, shadows, background noise, what people around you are up to, the feel of your shoes on the floor. . . A nice exercise in itself, and it will carry on into the dream to make them feel more authentic (as well as last longer).
