      Not able to touch thing

So I had my second LD a few nights ago and it was much better than the first one because I was able to do more. But one thing I noticed was that I wasn´t able to grab anything. Right after I became lucid I tried to pick some kitchen thing up, but my hands ust went through the thing. Then I kinda lost my grip on the ground and started flying away, I just flew right through the roof.

Does this happen to anyone else, and is it a one time thing or is it something I should expect in every LD?

      Relax.

Just, casually try to pick it up, you'll get it. Don't worry about it, and you'll be able to pick it up. Sometimes, people just have "disabled, bad" lucids, and don't expect this to happen every time. If this happens again, just, try to pick it up, don't be like: "CRAP, last time I wasn't able to pick anything up!" Just casually pick it up, it'll happen. And, flying through the roof is enjoyable...and through windows, I do this all of the time on purpose ^_^, though I'm sure that that's not what you were going for. If you expect to bump your head on the roof, you will.

In summary, think what you want will happen, and if you're persistent, you SHOULD get what you want, but even I aquire handicaps now and then, but don't give up!

Also, on a side note, it's fun to not actually PICK something up, but to levitate it, or use your "magic hand" or "magic finger", as I like to call it. It's enjoyable, and takes less time then going right up to it, though this does take a little bit of work and believing, AT FIRST. I do this in every other one of my lucids!
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Congrats on becoming lucid! This is just a small issue with dream control. This won't happen every lucid and may never happen again. Control will come with practice and experience. If this does happen again, I would suggest performing some stabilization techniques and it should fix the problem. Good luck to you!

Yeah I agree with Yoshi, it sounds like a minor control issue. Hopefully this is a one time thing for you.

On that note, congrats on your lucid
