have ever asked questions in lucid dreams?

thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss what questions you have asked in lucid dreams whether it was to a dream character, animal, or an object or maybe just out loud..

one of my most memorable dreams of asking a question was when i had a dream where i awoke to a lion and a trainer, the lion was huge, like elephant sized, and it starts to eat the trainer, realizing i was lucid i stared the lion down, and it began to transform into something less intimidating, it finally shrunk to a balloon looking animal.. i laughed for a second, then the animal starts running, it turns the corner and runs down the hall, i gave chase to it, the animal runs into a room, i follow it in there, then it trys to go through the wall like a ghost, but i grabbed what i describe as its soul i grabbed it right before he could go through the wall, the "soul" turns into a bubble, and i grab the bubble and began eating it, i walk out the room and into the hallway, i am extremely lucid at this point. I then asked the question whats the meaning of either i said the universe or life, and a distinctive whisper came out of nowhere, sounded neither man or women, and it said something to this description, " your body/soul does not understand virtues, and your soul/body does not understand values" i then woke up, and felt ecstatic, changed my mood for the whole day.. the thing is i couldnt give you a clear defination of what virtue meant before the dream, and now i know what it means, i feel as though maybe "it" the voice whatever it is, was just telling me that having good virtues and values is important in living a righteous life. I think maybe the positive energy you give out will be returned when you die.. by living by good morals and ethical principles...

i know maybe i should i spoke to the lion but it didnt really give me a chance, maybe i should have told it too stop, but it kept running, and i didnt want to lose it when it was about to go through the wall, so the only thing i can think of was to eat the bubble, i thought maybe since the lion represented fear in my dreams before that, i thought maybe "eating my fear" would be like conquering it.

I speak to French Musketeer and a Lady Renaissance Painter. There always around somewhere in my dreams, they generally like to talk about themselves. I wish i could paint sometimes because some of the stuff i have seen is great.

I used to ask random DC's: "who are you? what are you doing? what is it? etc". But usually I wasn'n able to ask more from their answers if they answered something.
Once I asked three guys who were doing some stuff on a ladder "What they were doing?": The first one told me he was sowing the plants, the second one told me he was harvesting them and the third one was teaching them the course.

I have never been asked, nor have had the opportunity to ask anyone any questions. I did try to get one person's attention once, but didn't get to find out if they had responded because I'd turned away. XD

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

I have already wondered this. Wow i feel more and more like a philosopher every day! What i think it means is how we sin and act and what we consider wrong is all caused by our human brain. Which causes us to develope a cense of what is right/wrong. But our soul is our being and our soul doesn't have these censes our brain has developed. This is the only way i can explain what the bible says how we are going to be perfect in the afterlife because everything that makes us human is in our brain. So that makes me wonder? How would our soul be any different than say a dogs'.

(I use to have alot of freetime to think. But not anymore that i'm not home schooled anymore.)

The brain is just a switchboard for the soul

I asked a girl in my lucid dream, " DID YOU ASK ME TO POKE YOU OFF"
      she replied yes.
my dream turned into sex, followed by a near orgasm.
      so close.

I have asked questions before in a LD. Lemme see if I wrote it in my lucid journal *checks*

      EDIT: Here it is!

I wanted to ask these questions because I heard that someone else did or wanted to, ask DC's questions! SO, I was inspired!
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

I have tried this a couple of times but usually my DCs are avoiding my questions, saying something non-sensical or running away. Only a few occations I got interesting answers (the answers are always fun, but not always interesting
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Not to get religious on you, but I would bet this is a religious dream. Planting the seed... harvesting it.. making it grow. 3 guys on a ladder.. hmmm.

robert waggoner talks alot about the value of asking questions in dreams
      very inspiring
according to him, you can ask anyone, what's in that box, why did you come to see me, do you have a secret, etc?
thanks for the question, it reminds me to do more of this myself!

I'm glad to hear that some of you have had success with this. My mind wont let me ask questions, If I do I get forced awake. It really sucks.

But the one I always try to ask is "who am I?"

I really hope some of you can try that question where I cannot.

It's really very interesting to think about what your mind would say to such a thing.

      Happy dreaming.
