      Question Dream questions, maybe Myths

I want some clearance on your thoughts for these True/False questions.
      1. The DCs you see in your dreams want to see you in real life.

      2. Dreams can predict the future, or recall events in the past, of your life

      3. You can improve a skill(ex. kicking a ball accurately) in your dreams.

4.Lucidity in dreams with affect the natural flow of your dreams.

      1. Myth
      2. Myth - Though it can very rarely recall a past event.
      3. Fact
      4. Myth & Fact - depending on how you go in your dream, it may or may not.

I'm not quite sure what you mean! If you mean that DCs are real people who exist somewhere in the world and want to meet you, then false I reckon!

      2. Dreams can predict the future, or recall events in the past, of your life
I've heard reports of people intentionally reliving old memories using lucid dreams, and I think it probably is possible though I've never managed it. As for the future, dreams regularly simulate possible real life scenarios, and it's bound to happen every now and then that they'll get something right, a while before it happens. It's happened to me on several occasions- I look out for it.

      3. You can improve a skill(ex. kicking a ball accurately) in your dreams.
Yep! My halo 3 headshots have improved. But in all seriousness, you do actually perform actions in dreams the same way you do in real life (brain-wise) only difference is your body is paralysed.

      4. Lucidity in dreams with affect the natural flow of your dreams.
Depends how much control over the narrative you take. You can still be lucid and let the dream decide it's own course.

1: Myth, never heard it before.
2: Myth and Truth: My mother has had more than a few of these incidences you might dismiss as coincidence, but she's had dreams that can predict particular events to transpire in the future. I have never had this happen, and she is the only person I've known that has revealed such a thing to me, so that's all I have to support that claim as a true statement.
3: Truth. I have no evidence, but I have read about (lucid) dreams aiding people in overcoming fears and improving skills for their waking state.
4: Possibly Truth, depending on how it's looked at. I think that the more lucid dreams I have, the more they impact my non-lucid dreams, which in turn aid in causing more lucid dreams to happen upon me.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
