      Magic Doors don't appear? Grrr..

I had an LD last night. my watch's minute was 99, a dead giveaway lol. Im gonna go for another one tonight with uber confidence. Anyways I had a goal... an impromptu goal.... that were i in my right frame of mind wouldnt put it as priority, and we all know we're not all there in the head when we LD... so I try to carry that goal out.. but the problem is I need to teleport there..... So i got out of my house tried to make a door. It didn't work... though a bunch of wood plates did appear out of nowhere, it didn't help. I also tried to make a watch and check the time (RL) but it didn't work. It was inside-out lol. And for some reason my surroundings have became an expanse of desert...... and after some while I closed my eyes and woke up lol. Is this logical? Lol.. Anyone ever not able to will something?

I was trying to make a Velvet door room btw, with blue lights coming out of it, from Persona 3/4 or did it go way back lol?

Just don't let it discourage you if the door doesn't appear on your first attempt to create it. Instead, get creative. Pull the carpet up against the wall, believe it to be a door, and open it like a door; see what's on the other side. Look for a picture of the place you want to go to and try to climb into it. It will just mess up your dream control to keep trying one thing and failing at it. If something doesn't work once, just think of a different way to accomplish the same thing. I find it much more enjoyable than just doing what's obvious, actually

Pfft, failing once, remember, not everything will work every single time in a dream, so if it fails once, it is just normal, doesn't mean it will fail again in your next lucid.

And with learning lessons every time we fail to do something, the next lucid dream becomes different lol.
