Lucid dream quality depends on the sleeping side?

So, I was wondering if anybody else noticed this.
When I sleep and have LD on my left side, my dream and everything I do is more kind of action-packed. Things like flying, fighting come sort of easier.
When I sleep on the right side it's more kind of, about the beauty of the whole thing. Good conversations, coloring the sky, stuff like this.

I read that when we sleep on the left side it activates the sympathicus, fight or flight nervous system. Which is like when you get scared you will either fight or run away. Also they did research and most people have nightmares when they sleep on their left side.
The right side activates the parasympathicus and that slows down the heart beat etc. A more peaceful kind of sleep.

Now, sleeping on either side doesn't effect my lucidity. Just the contents of the dream and sort of what I'm more likely to do in the dream.

This is part of the Tibetan dream yoga. Men should sleep on their right side, and for some reason, women on their left. I don't understand why the difference depending on the gender, but I'm male so it's right side for me anyway.
Also what I found interesting is that in Islam, muslims should sleep on their right side.

Really? I don't see much of a difference for content, but for mind clarity, I tend to have a better thought process when sleeping on my left than on my right, and even better while facing the bed lol

"Should". God, I hate people and their control issues. That religions tell you how to sleep is ridiculous.

But anyway. Very interesting stuff. I hadn't previously heard of it.

What happens if you sleep on your stomach, though?

Don't know...I guess it gets a little harder to breathe so that should have a similar effect to the left side sleeping.

My family is Muslim (I'm a closeted Atheist), and you have to eat with your right hand, shake hands with it, etc. The left hand is "unclean" and is the only hand you should use to cleanse yourself after defecation or the like. I guess that sort of attitude made sense thousands of years ago when no one washed their hands, but religion really sucks at keeping with the times (who says you can't update the word of god anyway?).
The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim

Yes, I've noticed that as well. In fact I even started keeping track of my sleeping position in my dream journal whenever possible. I think it has to do with the left brain/right brain schism.

Left Brain (right side of your body):Logical, Sequential, Rational, Analytical, Objective, Looks at parts

Right Brain (left side of your body):Random, Intuitive, Holistic, Synthesizing, Subjective, Looks at wholes

I figure it has to do with more blood pooling in one side of your head due to gravity, causing that hemisphere to become dominant. I much prefer the trippiness of sleeping on my left side (right brain) over the action dreams of my right side.
