The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..
maybe besides just doing an RC, you need to stabilize you dream body. something that worked for me after i had this same problem was to put my hands up, and just look at them, see every detail, looking at the back and front of them, touching them together. i guess this has an effect of stabilizing your dream body. i knelt in my dream when i did this, so i could be in a more solid stance. sounded weird to me, but it definitely worked. |

The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.
Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,
I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead. ---Whitacre's Sleep---
Stop. Look around. Take it all in. Breathe. Slowly walk around and touch things. Say, "This is a dream." |

if you stabilise enough, can you get pin sharp clarity? |

Focusing passively on objects near you one at a time. Only choose a couple and go back and forth between them trying to retain their original form. It takes time to build up a capacity to take in a whole vivid scene without giving into excitement, so start small. Don't be too passive, but don't be overly concerned either - balance is key. |
