      [SUPER FAIL] Double Dream Sign

So I was dreaming that a window was broken or something and somehow I said "Wait...am I dreaming?" and I got my arm out of the window (maybe as a reality check or something) and nothing happened.

It's like I asked if it was a dream, but I never said "Yes im dreaming" or "No im dreaming"..

Every day when I see strange things I ask myself "Am I dreaming?" and do RC's, but in this dream I only asked the question but never answered it.

When I woke up I was like AARGHH I missed a dream sign, so next night, I dream that I'm telling a friend "Yesterday I dreamt that I was in a window and I asked myself if I was dreaming but I didn't become lucid!! ARGH" and I woke up from the dream...LOL that's so fail

      Why I didn't become lucid?!

If you make RCs and questioning reality too much of a "routine" and don't put enough "questioning" into them, there'll be times you pass over it in a dream. You really have to be aware and question if you're in a dream when you do these checks.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I don't do it as a routine, I only do RCs when I see something wierd, or something that could indicate that I was dreaming, also I do them in the mornings to be sure it isnt a False Awakening...I don't do it like other people that do it like each 10 minutes or something like that.

Maybe it was just one of those dreams where you were barely lucid, only enough to dimly acknowledge that you were in a dream.

If a dream isn't vivid enough, it's kinda hard to become lucid. 2 days ago, i had my longest LD, it was about 5 minutes long. And i can remember that before i got lucid, it was very real and i was so aware that it didn't take much willpower to realize i'm dreaming. I didn't even do a RC until the end before i levitated. Be sure to get enough sleep and you will realize how easy it is to have an LD.
When you do become lucid, be sure to touch anything that's close to you, you can even touch the ground and rub your hands together. I didn't believe how much it helped me to stay inside the dream. I was amazed how long it lasted. Do these touching and rubbing stuff from time to time while you're in there.
Sorry if you already know all this, i just want to help
