First attempt at Lucid dreaming ever 70 percent success.

Alright well yesterday I started reading about lucid dreaming and I read alot about it and I was thinking about it alot before going to sleep. Sometime in the night in my dream I got a text message or something like that and I instantly knew I was dreaming. So I tried the dream spinning technique to go into a sexual scenario (lol) and I remember getting a boner and trying to visualise sex.

It wasn't what I thought it would be and I think because I was high on marijuana the earlier night my lucid dreaming suffered because of it. Or is it simply because I don't have enough practise.

And how are you supposed to dream spin for me I just pretend im spinning and it started to actually feel like it in the dream.

Don't post the same thread in two places...

Anyways, spinning is a technique often used to stabilize a dream. And also a way to change the dream scene. If you just randomly spin with your eyes closed, what can often happen is you end up in a random new dream scene. But if you think about the scene you want to enter, while spinning, then you will most likely end up there.

But this only works if you expect it to.

I remember while I was spinning I was thinking of wat I wanted. Is there an actual way ur supposed to spin or just imagine u are. The spin KINDA brought me to the scenario but it was like my brain couldn't make it realistic enough. Do i just need more practise or maybe if i was completely sober the night before I would have done it better.

So gonna try that tonight .

And remember that your brain is not used to creating a dream scene. Mabye try to teleport there, then focous on everything you want to be deatiled?

In one lucid, I teleported to a field where I can pratice flying, but it was very busy. So much for praticing flying.
