1. Sleeping where you can get sunlight is what I heard is a good way. At dawn when the sunlight shines on you , your body produces some horomone, which slowly makes you a bit more alert/awake. I had good experiences with this but only twice then I messed up sleep schedule ( it was my fault)

2. Sleeping on your back for WILD I heard was good. It helps to keep your awareness or sleeping in a new position, like on the other side of the bed or the "bottom" I haven't tried that though.

Oh and for me, i think I wake up in different positions... not too sure but I recently remember waking on my left side coming straight out of a dream. I'm a guy, and right handed ( some of the above posts mentioned certain positions for genders), oh and I sleep in what ever position is comfortable for me.
