So what does a lucid dream look like?

When I have a dream I remember it pretty good, I know what happens and can see details, however it just all seems a bit blurry like I was not there, kinda like an out of focus film/photo.

some lucid dreams are like those you said, but others look exactly like the real world, all the details, sometimes you forget that you are in a dream because it looks so real

Mine tend to range from very realisitc to as realistic as real life. Also, you have to remember that dreams are usually remembered with less clarity. I will say to myself in a dream "this is as real as real life", and then not remember it being that way at all.

Mine are often pretty surreal and hazy, which may play into why they are so short lived. I'm still working on bringing out the details to extend them, so they usually start dark and very unrealistic, but still cool.

the lighting in mine is often pretty great - it's like the spectrum is stretched out, and things have a sort of warm luminescence.
however, if i'm not very lucid sometimes my vision is impaired, like by a hat or glasses i'm wearing for some reason.

Mine vary. Although, the more I have the better the clarity is getting on average.

Put your hand over one eye. You lose depth perception, giving the world a more 2D kind of look. Now look around the room. Imagine all of the smaller things are gone. For example, if you are dreaming you are in your living room you might see the sofa, the pillows, the television, the rug, the coffee table. But you won't see the remote control, or the television guide, or the coffee stain someone left behind.

      Usually something like this:

Pretty much. They're great while they last, but once you wake up and try to remember them they seem foggy and as if you didn't experience them at all.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

In my experiance I am usually bumbling around my dark room trying to stabalize the dream. For some reason all my LDs are false awakenings. I am getting a lot better though, last night I looked out the window in my room and saw a beautiful hillside and sky that looked better than HD. It was CRAAAAAAZY.

Please don't post in old threads that haven't seen activity for years, especially when the OP hasn't been active for years. This is considered necroposting. Thanks.
