Thread: Lucid Dream Activator Software - Finished Beta Testers 1.07b

Has anyone been succesfully induced into an LD by this yet?
It sounds very interesting and my PC happens to be right by my bed

It is tempting since it is pill-free, but I have no way to use it unless I sleep in the room the exact opposite of the room that has the bed I sleep in in it. I think that if you improve it more I will consider it.

thanks for the offer cynical_bob problem is for some reason the file shows up at just over 5453k when uploaded but 4md when downloaded guess it's something to do with fat32 ntfs etc..
hopefully i'll find somewhere today

well i think only a couple have tried it so far however fan noise or having a partner in bed has stopped full testing
I have the same problem in both areas cant wake the other half up and fans to loud to sleep with

Lol not sure what else i can add to it though am considering using a webcam to detect body movement or lack of it to activate , if i could relate movement to REM status. if the program does prove to work i'll try and give it a little more time to get it out of the Beta stage , though the program was definitely just a rush job as i was eager to produce something that would help me LD

other possible improvements

1) Audio sent out via Bluetooth to bluetooth headset so as a Noisy PC can be left on somewhere else in the house
2)Web cam Movement detection can anyone tell me is there any relationship to movement or lack of it and REM ?
3) Possible self build mask using a travel mask and LED's powered from the com port

Hmmm ... the "You're still dreaming" wav file sounds like "Kuur still dreaming" ... just a minor note

Lol ! It's from the Matrix "Your Still Dreming" thought it was appropriate

the Mp3's and Wav's where just for examples add your own by copying them to the Audio folder
or record your own using a Mic and the record option though be careful as it records to a WAV file and WAV files do get rather big quickly

I believe if you were to do the webcam idea you could go off this:

People tend to move ALOT or atleast a little during N-REM and in between stages of sleep. So if you were to tell the program to activate something after several min. of non-movement that would probably work for the first half of the night. In the second half of the night you'd have to consider the possibility of small movements of the head and fingers during REM. In which case you'd want to activate it when there's movement. You'd have to base it on what time you went to bed and what time you normally get up and pretty much cut it in half and divid the reaction that way.

Downloaded it. Set up went perfectly. All the functions seem to work, except once when I pressed a key to turn the monitor back on, it turned the monitor back on, but started playing random tracks:
phone ringing

hello?

until i closed the program.

Nothing major that didnt work though. I'll try it for LD when i manage to get a long enough headphone extension cable.

Grr. didnt wotk to well, i woke up every time that Subliminal sound played and i played it 3 times... ah well..

i was really impressed with this programme the results worked for me, im trying to figure out the best way to use it, i manged to have 2 lucid dreams at about 6 in the morning and 7 "this is all a dream" in a bowling alley cheers for the programme

Never mind Krippe - I think it's a matter of using the correct sounds at the correct volume at the correct time may take a lot of playing with, The 'Subliminal sound 6hz' i would think would be best used for getting in to WILD the 'you are dreaming' starting low then getting louder would be better for LD

I'd love to try this program! Although I don't think using the sound functions would be a good idea, for me. But the flashing can be very useful!

About the program - the flashing doesn't work properly for me. The screen goes white, and stays that way. That's it. Isn't it supposed to remain black and only flash with white occasionally?

the screen is supposed to stay on and off for the duration you set ie on 5 seconds off 5 seconds

for the 6hz on off very fast , some monitors may not be able to cope with this and just stay white, or black not sure

If i get chance i'll improve the program , but the ay things are looking is not good

Though i did get Lucid last night with full control

Monitors should handle that just fine. 166ms/f is more than enough to get the screen to refresh
