Reverse Psychology MILD

This is a really simple process (that looks kind of like it's been mentioned on this fourm a few times already :0): it is pretty much regular MILD, with reality checks as a supplement. The thing that's different about my method is that I use a negative mantra.

For example:

"I am not going to have a lucid dream."

"I am not going to remember my dreams."

"I am not going to reality check in a dream."

You'd think these wouldn't work, but if you know about MILD, you probably also know about the fact the subconscious doesn't register negatives. So "I am not going to have a lucid dream!" becomes "I am going to have a lucid dream!"

The added punch comes from the intent and emotion around the mantra (this /is/ optional but Ive found it helps a lot). If you're angrily (pseudo or not ahah) shouting inside your head one of the above mantras, the emotions you've charged the words with is going to heighten the responsiveness of your subconscious.

Of course, like w any variation of MILD or heck any dream tech really, doing reality checks can help you achieve results faster. (I've found having a mantra for RCs makes me more likely to RC within the dream but maybe that's just coincidence.)

So that's it! I've been doing this method for about a week now, and every night it's produced a low quality lucid for me, so I'm really confident this is the method for me. Feel free to try it yourself and see if it helps you at all
