I have experienced the 1111 phenomenon, i am currently on a journey of ascendance and i never saw 1111 untill i began it. Have any of you experienced it?

The 1111 phenomenon is that millions of people around the world are seeing this number or a certain variation of it in their lives, everywhere from waking in the middle of the night with an urge to chek the time and it being 11:11, most have personal experiences of the phenomenon, one of mine was i walked into a verizon store the day the Boulder came out and was talking to a friend about the coincedence and he pointed behind me and BOOM this is the poster the store had up of the phone...
i freaked out... they occur when you're not lookiing for them and they are the most random yet reocurring experiences ever, my first link is to a google search on it where many sites speak about the phenomenon and it's growing like crazy, i just learned today that the mayan calendar is supposed to end on 12 21 2012 at 11:11am....

Thank you but no... This has been occurring much before i ever started reading about anything on it, i never thought about it occurring, at first it actually frustrated me... i did not start it subconly, it began and occured over a couple years then i started researching it... and actually now that i'm researching it i haven't seen it for a couple months....

I did find that thread helpful thank you, and no it's not a matter of replacing it with notice... and i know from personal experiences it's not something i'm doing to myself. It happens when i'm not trying to, and it occurs in other places besides clocks... Originally Posted by ClouD

Me, its with number 10:10 but its probably most explained by the fact that its at that time that I usually go to sleep and look at the clock to understand my sleep cycle. (I go to bed at 10 so I can have my entire sleep cycle and get the longest REM period, but I would need to go to bed at 9 but I can't) so anyways, since I try to go to bed at the same time and it normally takes the same amount of time to get ready since I do the same things, than I see the same time which is only ten minutes before the time wanted which is all pretty normal.
Might be that for everyone else too, just in different circonstences. Your subconscious probably has the repeating envy to look at the time at that time since you are normally bored or something at that time depending on your daily routine.OOOOOOOOOOOO

The whole 1111 number thing is a load of BS. I used to get it, I'd get weirded the FUCK out when I saw it. Like, I thought it was odd how I almost always saw 11:11 on my clock when I went to bed, oh wait I always go to bed around the same time, and OH LOOK it was 11:09 or 11:15 the next day I came up. Than I believed again when I kept seeing it after one of my classes let out, oh wait the class runs about the same time every day, WHOOPS next day I it was 11:12 when I came out. Like I said, it would be like going by a bus stop every morning on your way to work and due to your schedule you usually see the bus picking people up, that's just how it turned out due to a consistent pattern. If you started going to work 10 minutes earlier every day, chances are you wouldn't see that bus a whole lot, or switched out your digital clock with a hand clock, you wouldn't get the same results
The reason 1111 is popular is because 1 is a popular number. It is an area code indicator, it is part of an emergency phone number, it is part of a date for a terrorist attack, it comes many times during the day on the clock, it is a common quantity, you see where I'm going with this? You think I'm wondering why my last LD was my 11th and it was the eleventh month of the year? What if I switched it out with November, means the same thing, right? Hmm... I don't know if this counts, but I seem to always look at the clock at 11:38 or 23:38 (same time, just AM/PM). It doesn't happen daily, but it does happen fairly consistantly at work.
I did have this neat thing happen in grade 8 (so erm, 13 years ago now?) where I was at this new school, and I hadn't gotten my student ID yet. I was laughing with a group of friends and I said something about getting commited to "Insane Asylum 553."
When I received my new ID card, the last 3 digits of my student serial number were 553. So, now I consider it my lucky number!

I believe i specified that it happens with other things OTHER THAN TIME, the poster of the boulder could've had any other time on it... and this began for me beore 9/11, When i joined the military my barracks had 111 people in it.
