Thread: Intro Class Daily Dream Snippets

I was at this castle-looking place with a group of werewolves. Apparently I was also a werewolf and me and this girl decided to have a race. I stayed human form but she shifted into this giant humanoid wolf. I was ahead of her to begin with, thanks to my trick to get her frozen to the ice we were running on, but she soon beat me. I asked for a rematch and this time we had to collect a special artifact to win the race. We set off and I shift into wolf form, I take an alternate route by leaping high in the sky over this snowy mountain and then landing on the steep slope, gliding my way down. I quickly make it to the artifact, but the girl had made it there before me. I chase after her, trying to steal the artifact, when she leads me to her family home. I grab hold of her mother and rip her throat open with my teeth, killing her. The girl goes mental and shifts back into wolf form trying to attack me, but I conjure a giant tornado-like creation around me, flinging her and the rest of her family into the air, ripping them all apart.

Damn dude, you know I love you dearly but there may be some issues going on there buddy.

As always though I'm really impressed at your powers, skills and control in your nonlucids even (that one was nonlucid I assumed?)

Haha, I BLAME YOU! You're the one that got the October Tasks of the Month in my head Yep it was non-lucid. I don't necessarily think it's control though, I don't have any control in a non-lucid, it's like being an actor in a movie.

You should hear the other dream I had last night, I didn't post it due to creating a wall of text. Put simply it involved a winged valkyrie-like vampire woman who attempted to feed from my neck, but ended up being shot away from me by a giant gelatinous ball of liquid metal which restricted her flight so we could stake her.

Dreamed my ex-wife got kidnapped and we had no idea what happened to her. Damn too bad it was a dream.

I was in a dark place. Everybody was the same color as their surroundings and it was depressing in general. Bad stuff, guys.

I had to cook for a Mongolian Emperor in order to gain a type of amnesty into Shiva land. WTF?

I looked down at them. The refugee was smiling, hugging the soldiers, thanking them for saving his life. He sat down in the front area of the jeep. Then, one of the soldiers who was standing behind the refugee looked up at me, smiled creepily, and took a knife from his belt. He then removed the refugee's hood, revealing his head and neck. He grabbed the refugee's hair, and in a slow and deliberate motion, the soldier dragged the knife across the refugee's neck.

I had a dream about...shopping. At least, that's how it started out. From being recommended what to wear, it shifted to me being offered a job and having that offer immediately taken back, then to exploring a city's downtown area where literally every road was under construction. It's like my brain is blatantly throwing metaphors at me; I'm surprised there weren't any snakes wearing vests lounging around with the construction workers.

A high school friend is sitting in front of me, staring vacantly ahead. A small, mustachioed man holding a Phillips screwdriver prods at a tangle of wires that are sticking out of the back of my friend's head. I ask the man what he's doing. He snaps at me: "What, I guess you think these Dream Characters just repair themselves? You think you're the one doing all the work?" I apologize, reassuring him that I think his work is excellent and defensively pointing out that I've never mistreated a DC. His demeanor eases, and he smiles. "Thanks. Sorry about yelling at you. I've just been under so much pressure lately."

A green truck ran me off the road, driven by a woman who looked like a cross between Cathy Bates and Bette Midler. When I tried to chase her down I found the most amazing park. My description in my DJ doesn't do it justice.

Running from the law in the passenger seat of a gravel hauler, but it rolled over.

I woke up while I was riding on a badass motorcycle headed to "the club". (no idea...)

Luke Skywalker kept making out with my wife. I got mad so I took his perspective and it was ok. Then I became myslef I had to fly everyone Superman style in heavy rain to Lothlerien. I was on the verge of lucidity while fly but didn't punch through. Non lucid dream control. I woke up before we got to Lothlorien. Too bad that would've been interesting.

I was going to school, but I parked in this really nice parking lot that felt really familiar. I think I have dreamed about that landscape before, even though I've never seen it IRL that I can remember. Then I noticed that the parking lot wasn't the actually parking lot at the Community College, so I must be dreaming. Then I woke up. Dunno why I was in love with that parking lot.

I can't wait to get back to my old pattern of dreaming. Lately they've been sparse and generally depressing, but this time I dreamed of walking through an office building filled with creatures disguised as humans (or maybe just one pair in disguise). In plain sight, two tall and thin humanoid...things came out of the mouth of an office worker. One of them reached down and picked up the skin they shed then went to get a drink of water down the hall. The other made copies of some forms that it held while it waited. When they were both done, they went into the bathroom together and came out as one person. Nobody besides me batted an eye at what had just happened.

Once I dreamed that I was an octopus that lived in the remains of a sunken cruise ship. I had a pot that I carried with me that was my home and everything. Though it sounds like a bit of a strange dream, it was definitely a nice one.

I had a dream that I was in a straitjacket. Dark_Merlin fetched me on his motorbike and drove us away. I remember always falling because I couldn't balance myself with the jacket, and I couldn't hold on to anything.

I had a false awakening, and straight away I set up my laptop and myself & Lisa were going to record a podcast episode, live on webcam. I turned on my webcam (which I don't even own in waking life) and I looked a mess after just "waking up". Shortly after we started recording my house got raided by about 12 people who pushed me out of the way for a chance to be shown on the webcam. I had another false awakening and felt stupid that I went through all that setting up process in a dream, and then went ahead and did the setting up process again before actually waking up.

I was at a speaking engagement with Robert Waggonner. I dont know if he actually talked about lucid dreaming but he started shaking violently and turned a dark blue color like this

And then pulled out a sword that looked like black fire and killed a bunch of orcs.

(we watched LOTR and I read some of Robert's book before bed)

The building I was in was being bombarded with poison gas, so once I saw the smoke creeping up, I went into a room. Everything was white. There was a lady, maybe in her mid-forties. Her hair was disheveled, and she was sitting on the floor, in the corner, rocking back and forth. She was mumbling something but I can't remember what it was. Soon enough, the smoke entered the room because of the space under the door, and I got knocked out.

I am in charge of driving Santa's sleigh. The sleigh is a mile long, arranged as a series of cars chained together so that it can move fluidly like a snake. I'm racing across the globe at thousands of miles per hour and whenever I take the sleigh into a tight loop-the-loop, the end cracks like a bullwhip. The sound is unbearably loud. Windows shatter and car alarms go off in the snowy towns below whenever I do. I hope I'm not ruining Christmas but I can't stop doing stunts with the sleigh.

Although I was totally non-lucid, I wondered whether I was completing the "December Task of the Month".

A college class was being held at my house, then I left and somehow swam to a ancient greek island where I became their god.

Had a couple near nightmares last night...it seems the further I go into my lucid practice the more barriers I hit and these manifest as negativity in my dreams..

1. got into a car, and felt someone behind me. I was so scared I didnt even look, I just drove over a cliff as I said "I'm taking you with me!"

2. Was part of futuristic assassination squad. At one point one of my fellow assassins was in the process of killing someone by crawling into their body through their mouth...another assassin stopped him by saying "We aren't supposed to kill him until midnight, and its only high noon!"

Stranger than fiction..lol...

This morning I got about no sleep at all, but from what I did get was kind of neat.

The only piece of the dream I can remember at all was playing a guitar, but the sound was way off. The guitar sounded like an electric (no amp) and there was heavy sound distortion like it was being fed through a synth. Partway through I realized that there was no way that the guitar could be sounding the way it did and I went lucid for a bit, but I just didn't care; I just sat and played my unrealistic guitar until I lost my lucidity again.

I had a false awakening where I logged on to find the Dreamviews Academy blanketed with spam messages for "solid gold wristwatches". Every time I would delete one, 2-4 new posts would pop up to replace the vanquished one.

I'm going to echo RareCola here and blame OpheliaBlue for putting this one in my head.
