Hello! I`ve been interested in Lucid Dreaming for a few year`s, but never did anything about it except read a few books. But then I had a few experiences with Sleep paralysis after a naps and my interest was rekindled. That was about 10 months ago. I`ve been struggling along on my own till I found this site a month ago. I can`t get on often, or for long, but I`de like to master I all can in relation to Lucid Dreaming. I`ve had 6 lucid dreams, 2 WILD and 4 DILDS. But only in the WILD did I have good control over myself. I`m most interested in learning to DILD, and a long term goal of mine is to have one every night. And I`m willing to work for it. I look forward to working with you. |

Welcome, Warpflare! I think that you are the first student to show up to class with Wings on the very first day... most impressive! |

I`ve had 3LDs since my last post. One DILD and 2 WILDs. I wish I had time to post them on this site. In the most recent WILD I was the most Lucid I`ve ever been. Actually feeling the groung/tempurature. I`m super interested in finding a Dream Guide. Any threads with advice on that? (I`ll try to post my Lucids so far another time. |

I`ve just had a good week WILD wise. I found time for a nap everyother day this week, and managed a WILD each time for a total of 4 dreams of decent leangth/quality. plus one DEILD when I got to excited during my a flight and lost the dream, but managed to get right back in. This is definately a high in LD`s in one week. This is the first time I got exhilerated during a flight to the point of waking. Which I take as an accomplishment, not a problem. I love that feeling now. I searched a little for a DG as well, but I`m taking a long term aproach to it. Maybe it won`t come till I`m ready, or maybe not until I find it. But I`m going to start looking. |
That's great! You can try shouting out for your DG too |

Hi, warpflare! |
I don`t know how good it is really, but it always works if I relax my body enough beforehand. I`m not sure why. All I do is use a relaxation techinque to get my body relazed, then focus on my arms, then legs in turn. I cause some sort of warm feeling to go down them. I just keep repeating till I realize I`m in a Lucid dream, which usually comes as a shock, since I`m so concentrated on my body. On the other hand, If I don`t relax enough, or if I can`t concentrate I lose it. I have`nt succeeded in a WILD since that week. But thats probably because I injured myself and my sleeping schedule is heywire now. |
I haven't been on for awhile. I injured myself, moved half way across the world, and screwed up my sleep schedule. I have to get back into the habit of recording my dreams. Can anyone give me tips for getting back into Dream journaling? |
I find what works for me for dream recall is when my alarm goes off or I just wake up normally is to turn off the alarm and then instantly go back into the position I was sleeping in. I will then close my eyes and try to remember any dreams I can. When I remember a dream, even just a slight fragment of one I will always ask myself what happened before I was doing thing. This always seems to help me remember more of my dream. I do this for any dream I can remember. I then write everything I can remember about my dreams on a piece of paper/ notebook. Normally while writing the dream down I start to remember other small details about the dream. |
Hey warp, hope you get better soon! As for the dream journalling, you might restart with 0 dream recall for a bit, maybe a few. But don't worry, that's completely normal given your situation. Just remember to write down anything you remember, and if you don't remember anything, write it down still ("no dreams recalled today"). The important thing is the active intention of recalling them. Soon enough, your brain will pick up on it again and exponentially improve your recall. Good luck! |

Pretty good. I wasn't lucid long, but I managed to fly to the moon, for a few seconds. I started to explore a desert but lost lucidity in the middle |
