      Kekewak's Workbook

Well i decided to start a soon as possible with my training, I enjoy so much sleeping and thinking of making it even more interesting is just great!!

      Reality Checks:
      -Watch Palm/Count fingers
      -Thumb through palm
      -Environment Observation

      Dream Signs:
-Bad sight (as If was not using my contact lens)
      -Heavy and stupid-moving limbs
-People I almost never see (ex gf's, childhood and school friends)
      -gliding while flying or walking

      Short-Term Goals:
      -Have a LD using DILD
-Have better Dream memory (that should be at least 6 dream recalls a week)
      -Have 1 LD per week
-Have a little bit of control over the LD

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Have 2 LD per week
      -Have a WILD
-Have excellent control over the LD

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      - I have had very few LD, about 3, and about 2 Oobes (I dont see them as a paranormal experience). But most of the times I get aware that I'm dreaming, I end up in a weird state of mind very similar to SP, with frequency-like sounds and sensations of vibrating. Many times when going to sleep I have a sudden awareness lapse and I end up with sleep paralysis. Other experiences that I have had is feeling like I become aware but I can't control my dreams, when this happens things become pretty much scary and I get "trapped in a dream".

      Current Technique:
      -DILD

      Motivations

I'm really passionate about the human mind and the brain, I love neurology. Thinking of the brain working in a LD, a mixture of inconciousness and conciousness just makes me full of joy, I want to experience this myself. Apart from the my scientific passion for LD, there is also "just the idea of a LD" being great. I want to experience the endless power of being allmighty in a dream, and after some time of control being able to use LD on my benefit (better waking mood, etc...)

      Bed time: 2:00am
Waking time 10:00 am (alarm) - Breakfast - Bed again until 2:00 pm

First thing is first, I have to put some order to my sleeping.
I recall a bunch of dreams, probably in the time lapse from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in wich i kept waking up in several ocassions
I had a hard time falling sleep, It probably took me more than an hour, at this times in Chile the weather is terribly HOT, it makes it so hard to fall sleep.

Except from all this, I have a vague memory of becoming aware in the dream (I actually said to the dream "you tried to make me believe this was not a dream huh?") I almost failed in getting aware, but when I realised I was actually dreaming happened what always happens, my sight gets all blurry until i can't see and i start hearing frequency-like sounds, sometimes a white screen. after this just blackout.

I have no idea why if I get aware I'm uncapable of controlling my dreams normally. either I get stuck in a dream, or I get what i just described before.

I hope to get better by reading tutorials.

      Bed Time: 2:00 am
Wake time 10:00am (wake and to sleep again) - 12:30pm

Well it wasn't a succesful night, i put alarm clock at 5 am so I could give it a try to WILD but the alarm was not capable of waking me up, i can see how strong i'm at sleeping, no dream recall in my first sleeping period, except i remember my grandfather giving me a swimming short I already had(I have no idea how to say it in english, but is the shorts you use to swim).

After 10am I started to sleep again, i have no idea how much more dreams and waking ups i had, but my last session i could remember big part of the dream, It was an art class and I was making an awsome drawing, a white modern big house in some sort of forest. i remember i was like "inside" the painting doing it, great dream i'd say.

But no lucids, but I'm positive, i can't expect overnight to have a lucid dream if I'm having this hard time to even remember dreams.

I started reading laberge's book too.

      Bed time: 4:00 am (party)
      Wake time: 9:20 am (alarm)

No lucid dreams yet, I could remember my dream though, but not in details, in fact, i know i only remember the last part, before that I only have very vague information I could not remember. The most destacable thing about the dream was that my histology classes would be at 6:15 am in the morning, and my friends from the odontology career too, so I was in a room with a friend (girl) with a friend of her, at 4:00 am getting ready to go to class, i think we didn't slept. Anyways my dream took a complete different direction when in the same room another friend (girl) i once kissed and I still find very atractive, even though i havent seen her in a year, she was wearing a swim suit (probably the most out of place or dreamy thing about the dream). I started to toy with her and i accidentally (i'm not even sure if it was on purpose) kissed her, I told her I'm sorry and asked her to cuddle me, she pet my head (my favorite thing on earth, i'm like a dog) and after a while she cut my hair.

      That's most of the dream

I think that noticing my friend in swim suit should have made me notice I was dreaming, or getting ready for classes at 4:00 wich is ridiculous, and I'm on vacations, or that I was living with a friend of the odontology career (I study medicine).

I'm a tiny little bit dissapointed of not having a lucid dream, or at least noticed i have been dreaming yet, and my dream memories have been very short and bad. But I can't be expecting to get this right so soon, but i'm so excited about have a lucid dream the right way.

      Bed time: 2 am
      Wakte time: 10 am

No luck yet with lucids dreams, But I had a little better dream recall, I remembered 2 dreams, or 1 in it's different stages (I couldn't fuse them in any point)

No haste though, i'm really interested in laberge's book, as soos as I finish it i will start some training into WILDs and WBTB.

      I GOT IT!!! WOOOOOW

Last days I've been lazy with all my training, completely been forgetting about reality checks and etc..

But yesterday... well, I went to a nocturnal open water travesy on the sea (2,5km)(for those who don't know, Open water is basically swimming in the sea or a lake or rive, no a swimming pool), I did excellent, managed to get place 4/90 and 3rd place in my category (18-29) So I was ridiculously happy. aprox at 2:30 am i was at home to sleep, before that I went to take a burger and a beer with my dad (maybe the beer helped me LDing?).

      Bed time: 2:30am
      Wake time 10:am

I was dreaming that I was going to a bar with my school friends, some thing where particulary out of place, like in the bar there was no bar, and was stupidly small, and with no windows. I also remember there being a techonolgy that made us see there was a wall in the entrance of the bar until we paid $10 usd (5.000 pesos here in chile). "here comes de LDing action" Well the thing is that I noticed this weird stuff and suddenly wondered if I was dreaming, and well, I fact I was. Everything started to get blurry and dark and I remembered some stabilization techniques, I decide to stare at thee floor, and everything stabilized, I remember everything being so clear. I was full of joy when I realized I finally did what i never could before, stabilize a dream. So I said goodbye to my friends (at this point I was outside of my house, don't know really I got here), and went away jumping. Yes I was trying to jump as high as possible, but i couldn't manage to get more than 2 or 3 meters. I travelled around my city jumping walls, houses, etc.. but always wondering why I couldn't jump higher If I was trying this hard. As time passed I started to learn something about dream control, I had to really believe I could do something to do it, I managed to get something like 20 meters jumps, I started to climb (for saying, I was actually jumping in some sort of gigantic steps) a big building (I have know idea how to call small skycrapers, those that have flats), but the last step for it was like 80 meters high and I didn't had the balls to jump it, since the vertigo sensations in my dreams are really fucking real, and if I didn't manage to get that 80 mts jump It would have been scary as hell. At this point my dirty youngster mind tryed to change the dream into something erotic, but at this point things started to fade until I woke up.

It took me a while too fully wake up and remember to record this on my journal.

What I can say about this is:
first of all I'm really really happy about this
Second, the parts I remember the best are the beginning and the end, the mid part I cant recall it very well, and I guess it's because of the time it took me to realize i had a dream
      Third, wow

This post was so big because it was my first succesful LD I'm really happy, please forgive my english (I know it's bad sometimes).

Looking forward to have more so I can practice my dream control and not make it so limited to the laws of physichs like I was in this dream.

Hey, that is great! Congratulations on the ld and also on the swimming race!

You did a great job stabilizing the dream and the jumping in big steps and so high sounds super cool!
