Ayaze's Workbook of Sheer and Utter Unamaginable Coolness

      ~Day 1~

      Reality Checks:
      - The 5-Finger Check Method
      - The Push-Thumb-Through-Hand Method
      - The Plugged Nose Method

      Dream Signs: None yet.
      -
      -
      -

      Short-Term Goals:
-Summon a Dreamcast Controller in my lucid dream
-Summon Spiderman and have shoot webs at the DC controller (Get It? Cuz like, Dreamcast=DC. Too cool.)
      -Become Fluttershy

      Long-Term Goals:
      - The ability to have full control of my mind and subconscious.
      -
      -

Lucid/Dream Recall History:This IS my first day, after all.
      -

      Current Technique:
-The DILD technique. My life is a bit busy, so i doubt WILD will be an option for a while.

Note: I wake at 7 am and go to sleep at 10-11 pm.

      ~After Night 1~
Fell asleep at 11? and woke up at 5:11 with sonic adventure 2 images floating in my head.
The cause of my failure was probably because
      - Sliver of doubt
      - Didn't Keep Up Awareness

      I tried napping.
It didn't work, probably because i napped for 5 minutes.

QUESTION: Whenever I wake up from trying to lucid, I have thoughts floating around in my head (SA2, for example) and the passage of time from falling asleep to waking up seems nonexistent.

      OBSERVATION:
My dreams so far have been all image streaming, and I have not been in them. HALP

Hey Ayaze, welcome to intro class!

QUESTION: Whenever I wake up from trying to lucid, I have thoughts floating around in my head (SA2, for example) and the passage of time from falling asleep to waking up seems nonexistent.
It sounds like your were in NREM sleep, a phase that precedes REM where most dreams and lds occur. Were you trying to wild while napping or just trying for an ld? Dild might be somewhat easier in the beginning.

      OBSERVATION:
My dreams so far have been all image streaming, and I have not been in them. HALP
Do you mean all of them or the ones where you were tring to ld? It might help to keep a dream journal if you are not doing this already. You can also post any dreams you wish on DV, use the tagging system, it will make dream signs more obvious and we can also read and comment.

okay, updates. so i had a dream where i ALMOST lucided. I was in a used game store and saw Shenmue III for original xbox (a game that does not exist) on a shelf. I questioned it, but passed it as my confusion over if it existed or not.
