      Post zxechoo09's Workbook

Well after being here for just the start of this month I have decided to join the intro class after a while as it may help me get achieve LDing. I have tried to LD since early October last year till about late November, I gave up as I did not have any LDs. I then started again on the 25th August this year and joined DV in early September.

      Reality Checks:
      -Nose Plug
      -Count Fingers
-Expect there to be something strange behind me

      Dream Signs:
      -School
-Water Sources (Includes beaches, rivers, ponds, etc.)
-Things related to lucid dreaming and non-lucid dreaming

      Short-Term Goals:
      -Have my 1st LD
      -Fly in an LD
      -Have a WILD
      -Complete a ToTM

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Become a consistent LDer
-Remember at least 4 dreams per night
      -WILD consistently
-Go back to my 'state discus' dream and win it, make everyone else fail, laugh at them, start throwing coins at all the losers and make the trophy massive and brag in all their faces.
      -Complete a ToTY

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-Each night I can remember 1-3 non-lucid dreams each night as dream recall is probably the only thing I am confident in doing in LDing.
-I have no LDs so I cannot recall them. If the semi-lucid counted I remembered it fully.

      Current Technique:
-SSILD, This technique has given me good results with either vivid dreams after it, semi-lucid dreams (once and first time I tried) and maybe an FA doing the SSILD cycle.

Recalled 3 dreams from last night one was at a beach (I think this is another one of my dream signs as I am always there), and the other two were at school.
There was definitely a 4th but I forgot it after remembering the other 3

This morning I had 2 dreams, one I can't recall and guess what another at school (ugh... it's holidays I don't care about school XD)
I also tried putting on an alarm that lasts for 2 seconds and then it turns off automatically. I had to turn it off at 3:15am as I woke up then and the alarm was set for 3:30am

You should definitively try using FILD, it's a type of WILD and it's just amazing, while FILDing you can feel your body losing gravity and you can see the dream getting form right before your eyes. Nice methods you use btw! Good dreams

Thanks, I've tried using FILD before but it hasn't really worked for me :/ I will try again it again tonight and put my results here. As I have cricket soonish I will be quite tired when I am finished and it will help me do the FILD.

Had 2 dreams, One of them is in my DJ (I only put weird, interesting or good dreams in this one).
I tried the FILD twice, one waking up to the alarm and one after. I couldn't feel my body in both but I knew that I wasn't asleep... So I got distracted and lost the flow of FILDing.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm alright for now with questions thank you.

I need to start doing RCs on my dream signs as I had 3 dreams last night with one having it centred around school, 1 centered around a river (water is new dream sign replacing beach) and another dream which had a little pond in it

Have a new dream sign, things that are related to dreaming that I talk about with DC's e.g. reality checks, lucid dreaming, etc.

2 dreams (they might have been 1 dream can't remember) today both being chased, first one was being chased by a black cat, 2nd was being chased by a noisy miner (look it up if you don't know what it is XD).

I realise now why I am probably not making much progress in lucid dreaming, I'm not that committed :/ , I wake up in the middle of the night and pretty much think I'll do it tomorrow, and this happens pretty much every night, I am committed in the day doing serious RCs about 20 times each day but can't be bothered at night when it really matters...

Yes, commitment is an important factor for becoming lucid. Actually, I do see some good signs of progress as you are talking to DCs about lucid dreaming or doing RCs. So, keep up the day work and gradually add some night work. For example, you can start by RCing every morning and then extend this to RC upon every natural wake. You can then add more items to your routine.

After my cruise I went on for 4 days (didnt enter in DJ for about a week) I can only remember 1 extremely long dream or a lot of short dreams.

Edit: Have a new dream goal
Go back to my 'state discus' dream and win it, make everyone else fail, laugh at them, start throwing coins at all the losers and make the trophy massive and brag in all their faces.

This is the dream that inspired it
