My first Lucid dream! (had to go through sleep paralysis)

Been here for about a month but lost abit of motivation like a week ago, so I bought melotonin supplement that was suggested on this site and drank two capsules last night.
Went to sleep like normal, set my alarm for 1:30 to try a Fild technique but failed. Tried about 5 times and gave up. Then out of the blue I experienced sleep paralysis. A huge surge of energy hit me(like a train going through my body, very loud! and there i was lying very excited Did n nose reality check and bam! I was lucid but was stil lying in my bed, stood up and looked back to see if my body was lying there but it didnt. My flat was very dark and tried to put on lights but nothing worked. Tried to rub my hands together to change the scene but nothing. So i went outside, the sun was slitghly shining. Tried to fly, only got up about 10 feet and then after a few more tries i almost went into space was very excited and after awhile i went back to my flat, knocked on my door to wake up my real body and then I had a false awakening and I dreamed a non lucid dream after that.

Just thought i would share my first lucid dream, but i kinda had a OBE(out of body experience before this one.

If you want to check out my checklist click right HERE

If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?

Congratulations! Do you think the supplement was why you succeeded? That sounds so cool.
As children we believe anything is possible. As adults, we need to remember it.

To be honest, yes i think it helped me get into deeper sleep faster, when i tried the fild technique it failed about 5 times. So i gave up but thinking back i tried to fall asleep on my back which i dont normaly do and then the sleep paralysis hit me. Ive read that lying on ur back when not used to u can get sleep paralysis. But I must honestly tell you that at some point in my lucid dream i dint know what to do with myself, I think i must study dream control? Any advice? I was kinda standing outside and didnt know what to do and i think that lead to becoming non lucid and waking myself up. . .

Laying on your back, eh? I normally lay on my stomach, so I'll have to give that another shot. Congratulations on your success! Keep at it!

Thanks alot bud, When u are not used to lying on ur back i would suggest doing that when u had about 3-4 hours sleep in, then you wont be to conscious about it and maybe try a technique with it like the (fild) or what ever. . .

last night, before i went to bed, i wanted to go drink a glass of milk(im doing this for about a week) but i thought fuck it, and i drank everything that was in the carton of milk.

Milk, when warmed in a microwave, releases a chemical that can help you sleep. Don't lose motivation catzisconfus!

Implying there was something else in the carton of milk?

EDIT: Nice avatar, by the way!

lol catzisconfus, dont rely to much on the milk part or any supplement for that matter, i took the same dosage melotonin last night and didnt do anything for me. . . I tried sleep paralysis but also no luck, ill keep this thread updated on the melotonin supplement and im going to get some Calea dream herbs from a friend 2moro and will post my results on that to. Im off to go buy a bigger dream journal

It's not so hard, and this program can make it even easier
