Have you attempted setting your alarm in the middle of the night to see if that stirs you? You could attempt a WBTB to try and encourage recall. |

I have been working on my dream recall for the past five months and have seen little to no improvement. I have been keeping a dream journal, and repeat to myself that I will remember my dreams as I fall asleep each night. I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong or something that I need to add. I very rarely become conscious in my dreams, so when I wake up, I don't even realize that I had a dream to try and remember. I also sleep straight through the night, so I don’t wake up after my dreams either. I am lucky if I am able to remember one dream a week. |

I haven't tried waking myself up, but I'll see if that helps. And most of my dreams that I remember focus on what I did the day before and school. |

try this. it works for me: |

I have returned, but I'm not the same
I'm a shadow, a shell, it's no longer a game
Peace is dead, peace is gone
All that remains is a chilling song
Last night I tried waking up 4 1/2 and 6 hours after going to sleep. First I had a fragment and the second time I had a full dream to record. I'm going to try again tonight to see if I can improve on that. |

Glad I could help! |
