Ok, so I tried a method this afternoon ( during a nap ). I was awaken by the dog barking, but I wanted to try it again tonight and just wanted to make sure Im doing it " right ".. (I Keep a DJ, and practice RCs a few times a day and repeat mantras to myself as well )
Im going for the Hypnagogic method.
I lay there and get comfortable
I clear my head
I close my eyes and focus ( tell my self in my mind that I will have a LD, I will be AWARE etc )
I pay attentions on the light colors behind my eyelids ( But not focusing on a certain color or shape )
When the shapes start to "change " and form, and I can sometimes hear a " whisper " I allow myself to fall deeper into the hallucinations, starting to focus on the more detailed "objects" trying to " make them out as something"...
I got to the point today where I thought I was hearing a whisper and ever a loud BANG, and when I started to focus on certain more detailed hallucinations my mind would start to form an image from the shape.. This is where I was awaken by the dog. lol
Is this the " right " way to attain lucidity via the Hypnagogic Method?
