dream character a dream sign?

hi, still trying to get my first long lucid dream, my recall is improving

just a question, can a DC be a dream sign? because looking over my journal which isn't too big yet, there appears to be a recurring character, a small fat bald man, sort of like danny devito, he always seems to be in a position of power or authority for example in a recent dream he was the manager at a burger king

That works. If he's not a real person, it may be hard to work him into your daily reality checks.

The only dreamsign I seem to have is seeing my family members, mainly my dad. The problem with that is I live about an hour away from my family and I only see them like once a month. Sooo....I really can't figure out how this dreamsign is supposed to be helpful to me if I never see it IRL. Should I visualize them when I RC, or is that pointless?

Well he might be reoccuring because you think about him before you go to sleep, and he'll just kind of pop up in all of dreams because he is somewhere on your mind.

ha, I don't think about him before sleep, it was around 3 days ago I thought right theres a few dreams in my journal i'll look for a dream sign, and out of the 15 dreams in there the description "small fat bald man" was in 3 of them, and when I visualise each dream its the same man. but since then he hasn't been in any

and that's what I thought robot butler, like should I do a RC every time I see a small fat bald man
