      Sleep Paralysis

Hi.=) I've been trying for the past 7 months(i know, long time but have been occupied with school things) at least to have lucid dreams. I've had 2 successes, though they were not induced. i had somehow managed to realize i was dreaming. I've been trying to induce them, but have trouble going into SP. What are you guys's methods for going into SP??

Well however you get lucid, you always induce them some way. Yours was induced during a dream, hence Dream Initiated/Induced Lucid Dream (DILD).

Most normal people who don't practice usually get sleep paralysis by waking up into it, coined the offset of sleep, sleep paralysis. However lucid dreamers prefer the onset of sleep (falling into sleep to sleep paralysis) because waking up to sleep paralysis is random and unpredictable, while falling asleep into it is more controllable.

I get most of my experiences (usually by accident) by waking up for a few minutes then going back to sleep. After laying in bed for so long (maybe about 15-20 minutes) I suddenly feel it coming on which gets exciting.

In short, I always liked this tutorial.

Although that may give you the idea that the method is rather rigid in how you have to proceed with this method. Work with it — find out what works and what doesn't — for you.

I find the CAN-WILD Technique incredibly effective.

Thanks you guys! Oh and last night i think i finally got some almost results?? I was lying in bed just relaxing not worried or too excited about if SP was gonna come. My arms felt as if they were totally in SP, very heavy and tingling. Them my whole body stared vibrating, and i thought i was going to go into SP, my heart started racing, But then the vibrations sarted to go away. Any ideas as to what happened??

going by "my heart started racing" I assume you got excited?
During my first WILD attempts I always got excited that something was happening and it caused the SP to go away.
You need to remain calm and ignore any phenomena associated with SP.
It's hard at first, but once you get used to what's happening you should be able to do it pretty easily.

Another thing I want to mention is that those vibrations seem to be pretty random.
Usually I don't get any vibrations at all, and if I do, they often go away after a random amount of time.
It's the same for some other things associated with SP, plus everyone's experience is somewhat different.
So if something happens or goes away, don't worry about it too much.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

I seem to be able to get the numbness too, but I have been unable to reach the full.. 'slip' into the lucid dream. I usually seem to be lying down for what seems to be an hour then eventually go to bed the normal way.
I am here to Incept your mind...
