      WILD right after awakening?

Since you are very tired and don't want to do anything other than sleep right after awkening, is it possible to perform a WILD? I'm guessing since you just woke up, it wouldn't take much long for your body to be in SP. Would it take much less time to be in SP?

Yeah that's called a DEILD (Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream) which is basically just a type of WILD. When you wake up try not to move or open your eyes but remain aware. I've read that SP is usually much shorter this way so you should be dreaming in no time. I haven't successfully pulled this off yet....I always end up moving or swallowing which makes me too awake.

I think the OP might also mean if you're awake and have already moved, groaned, drank a glass of water at your bedside, then want to try WILDing.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
