      Mild??

Hey guys, I was wondering what does MILD stand for, and how do you do it?

MILD stands for Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dream.
I think that it means that you regularly repeat a phrase associated with lucid dreaming to yourself (say, every time you walk through a doorway)
I heard that something like "I lucid dream" is good, because it's short and very obvious about what you want. I also heard that you're not supposed to use the word "Will" because it implies in the future, which could be anywhere from now until the end of time.
I'm assuming you're new to DV. If so, , if not, I'm sorry lol
If you want an official explanation, check out the DV wiki.
      Top 5 Lucid goals:
[ ] Let it snow! [ ] Throw a fireball. [ ] Meet my characters and speak to them. [ ] Run as fast as Nat. [ ] Save the world.

Thanks! Yeah I just joined about a week ago. So do I have to say the phrase outloud or just in my head? Haha because I would get some weird looks..

      I use this technique myself!
Either or works, but muttering it to yourself for a while works best in my opinion.
I usually say "I am going to realize I am in a dream" for a while. Its long, but it helps with dream awareness, followed by "I will lucid dream tonight" over and over in my head.

What's important though is to stay focused. If your mind is actively focused on what you are saying or thinking it won't work as well. It might take a few days to get results depending on how good your dream recall is.
