I once did the finger tug reality check, felt pain but didn't become lucid. Later on I became lucid and realised how silly that was. |

hi there, ive been asking a lot of questions because i am really curious about LD. if you think something will happen, for example something scary that will kill you, will it actually appear?also ive been wondering, dos it take intense thinking in the LD to make something apeear? ive always thought that you can accidently think bad thoughts and scare the sh*t out of yourself. |

Yeah I have heard of the expectation thing many times, although haven't really had a good lucid myself, but yeah, expectations play a big part. |

Lucid dreaming goals:
Fly( )Tame a recurring wolf that has been in about 10 different dreams/nightmares ( ) Fly on a Night Fury from HTTYD ( ) Ask my subconscious why I have so many nightmares ( )
Fight agent Smith ( )Ride a huge spider to a battle against a beenest ( )
Face all of my nightmare creatures and beat them ( ) Be a god ( )
Yes, expectations are a huge thing in lucid dreams. You don't need to focus so much on making something happen, but just expect it to happen. I've compared it before to watching a movie that you're already seen, in the sense that you know what's going to happen next. Visualization helps a lot when trying to do something in a LD. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
Not excruciatingly, but it hurt a lot. |
