Hello! So last night I attempted to lucid dream for the first time and failed; though, that's not surprising since I didn't do much to induce it. Dreaming is a subject that I have always been interested in, and I have always wished to have the ability of lucid dreaming. Today I found this forum and hoped that maybe the people here will be able to help me start off. |

So, I started a dream journal when I woke up today (handwritten), but sadly did not become lucid in any of my dreams last night |

LD takes time to work. It varies heavily by individual of course, but you can probably expect your first one within 2 to 4 weeks. At most, the outer edge of the norm is 3 months before your first one, but even this is quite unusual. Just stick with it, and you'll become lucid. |
