So what you saying is, I should of just stuck with it? Meh.... these story's about people having these crazy hallucinations are scaring me, I guess if at worst I start having some bad stuff I could just move and cancel it right? If so, I might just stick with it next time and see what happens.

Seems like i missed a good chance? I still doubt it would take me far on my 1st night of trying it.

Also thanks to both of you for answering the question.

Well I've never had major hallucinations. But I imagine they could be scary. I think expecting them to occur only makes the chances higher. And don't beat yourself up about it. I'm having trouble with WILDing right now also. I'm trying every night staring last night until whenever I have one. I'm also keeping a WILD journal to see what my attempts consisted of. Hopefully I can get to the point where I WILD every night. That is my ultimate goal for this year. Or at least 5-6 nights a week. Then once I'm good at WILDing I can DEILD after the WILD.

If you don't know what a DEILD is they are very cool. You basically keep your eyes closed and don't move after waking up from a dream. Then you go back into your dream. Although sometimes you go into a new dream.

So imagine having a WILD and then chaining together a few DEILDs. That would be amazing.

Shoot that sounds like a nice way to make it last longer xD. And no i didn't know what DEILD's are so ill add that to my list of words i should know.

I'm gonna go read about people not having major ones, maybe that will help me. Either i'm gonna face this sooner or later. Might as well get it over with.

My first LD was WILD while trying MILD, so yes, it's possible. And I definitely didn't have any hallucinations. At one point when my eyes were closed it seemed as though there was a strobe light on, but this only lasted a few seconds and was more annoying than anything.

      Thanks for the warm welcome

So far its been 2 days (going to be 3 today) and i feel more confident more and more. I also got 2 of my friends VERY interested in doing these so there both on this website now. they don't ever post much anywhere and i cant control that.

Anyways last night was really weird... i kept waking up every 15-30 minutes if i would attempt to try to MILD. i would fall asleep then in 30 minutes id be wide awake again, and repeat.
So i thought about trying to stay still will i wake up but that didn't work (forgot that method name), i tried repeating mantra's that didn't work. after every time i woke up i did a RC to make sure it wasn't a false awakening.

It was really disappointing and I lost maybe 3-4 hours of sleep. Going to try MILD again, but if i continue losing this much sleep (4+ hours) i'm not sure i can last.
