      New to forums :D

Hey all, I'd just like to start off with a quick introduction of myself. Lucid dreams were something that I actually just experienced before anyone actually even told me about them, started about 2 years ago, and honestly I wasn't sure if what was going on in my dreams (i.e. the fact that I knew I was dreaming) was another type of dream, or if simply it was a way of my sub-conscious of just normal dreaming, mainly because it would happen so frequently, I started talking to my friends about it and I realized that most people never realized that they were dreaming in dreams. So then I got to this phase when I started analyzing my dreams more in depth, and just a general huge interest in them. The point is I thought I was on the verge of discovering something new..... until I googled "Realizing one is dreaming in dreams" -_- and thats how I came across knowing the term lucid dreams. I had already found out most of the things about my own dreams, like excitement leads to waking up etc. But I still have a lot of questions and things I would love to learn about lucid dreaming really nice to find a forum full of people who experience it.

Welcome to DV! You can find find some tutorials on the front page and forums on various things. A good method for people to start off learning are the DILD and MILD (you can find them in the tutorials) I also suggest you look into reality checks, and also start your own dream journal. also remember to remain calm, concentrated, but dont overwork your attempts. keep positive! if you have any specific questions ask on the forum or to a user personally. good luck! hope you have many lucid dreams!
