      Hello

      Hey,
      I'm Wes, I am quite interested in Lucid Dreaming but I've never been able to do it.
      At least not that I remember. I've read a large sum of things online but I'm not sure
      whats true and whats not. My best friend has had several lucid dreams and has been
      giving me some advice on what he thinks works but it is quite difficult as, for one, he
      sort of "unlocked" the potential with DXM. Something I've done once and am not about
      to do again.

      Anyway, a little about myself, I am interested in Computers and Music mostly. I play
      five instruments ( Alto Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano, and Trumpet )
      and I know four programming languages ( C, Java, HTML, and PHP ). If you guys have
      any computer related issues, I'd be glad to help .

      I am currently a second-semester freshman Computer Science major at Millersville University.
      My favorite movie is Inception . I like Indie music, and I'm also a bit of a Gamer. I guess I'm
      generally a geek but I'm okay with that ;P. I guess that about wraps it up. If you guys can help
      me to experience a lucid dream for the first time I will be extremely happy.

      to DV! First of all, are you keeping a dream journal? What's the point of trying to lucid dream when you wouldn't remember it anyways? All the information on this site is reliable, tutorials I mean and techniques. Everyone is different, but I suggest you couple the DILD and MILD techniques together for best results.       I'm a self taught kind of person... it has it's drawbacks but once you get the fundamentals i find the creativity and imagination take over.

      I'd imagine that alot of people in these forums are those focusing on human potential and growth. Amazing what we can accomplish!

      I was not already a member before seeing Inception but it did not bring me here.
      I was already interested in Lucid Dreaming before seeing Inception. It was a great
      movie but I feel that it really failed to capture the essence of dreaming. LD brought
      me here, not Inception
