      Question Which Technique to use

I have read about WILD MILD DEILD DILD EILD and WBTB But I have no clue which to try. I am leaning toward WILD and DEILD because I like the idea of a guaranteed LD because I don't like leaving things to chance, But I don't know if that is the way I should go. What do you think?

Here is my marketing for the WILD technique, as you guessed, it is pretty wild. What makes it so wild is the transition into the dreaming phase, but before you get there you have to(or not) go through the stage of SP which is a roller coaster ride no less, then comes the hypnagogic stage which can be a bit frightening, compare this to a haunted house experience and then you are launched into your dream.

I would say those are a pretty good reason to do a WILD. And once mastered, you can have a lucid dream everynight.

      Good luck

Well I tried doing WILD and It didn't work for me, I suspect this is because I can stay still for 30 minutes lol. So i read about DEILD which my understanding is the same thing just instead of waking yourself up you stay in your half-concious half-asleep state. I thought this would be better because I would not have to stay still for as long.

Staying still is easy, assuming you are tired, and not pumped on the whole 'controlling your dreams' thing. You are a beginner, so I wouldn't bother with WILD. DEILD isn't much better.

      Oh, and WILD/DEILD isn't a guaranteed lucid.

It is only frightening if that is your outlook on it, IMO. If you stay calm and positive about it, SP can be a not-so-terrifying experience.

You need to try each of them (for quite awhile, don't just try once. Go for several weeks to several months on each one) and then you'll find out which suits you.

Although WBTB and DILD are pretty standard
