Hey everyone.

I'm new to this whole thing. i only found out about LD a couple of days ago. From what i have researched there are lots of different methods to obtain a LD. The method that i would like to use is WILD because i like that fact of going straight into a LD. I have tried to WILD only once just too see if anything would happen (99% of me knew nothing would happen). And obviously nothing did happen. There were 2 things i tried last night. The first thing was an app which i found on my IPod touch. the basic concept behind it is about frequency. i think it was something like 10-17hz is a relaxed but conscious state of mind associated with LDing. The explanation on how this works is that the human hearing can't hear a 17hz sound. But what this app does is plays two tones. 1 in each ear. But 1 tone has a higher frequency. For example one tone is 500hz and the other tone is 517hz. the brain hears both these tones and notices the 17hz difference between them. then the brain frequency or something syncs up to the beat of the tone which then makes you relaxed. This sounded perfect so this is what i tried before i went too sleep last night. Just to lie still listening to this track to try get into the "body-asleep-mind-awake" stage. i did notice some of my body get heaver. But i found it hard to keep my eyes shut. they seemed after a while just to slowly open up. I also found it really hard to try keep a "clear mind" and to stop swallowing. It didn't work so i fell asleep with my alarm set to go of at 4:00am. it went off and i woke up. i was really tired and couldn't be bothered to setup the app so i just lied there trying to ignore all the twitches and itches. But i only found my self to wake up and it was time for school. As i say im new to all of this and this was my first real attempt at doing it. So hear are some questions i need to get cleared up.

1. I cant actually remember the last dream i had. And i don't see to remember my dreams anymore.

2. How do i keep a "clear mind". What do i do to try keep my mind clear and to stop my self from falling asleep.

3. Are my techniques that I'm doing look ok?

4. How can i stop my eyes keep opening or becoming side tracked.

5. Any suggestions in general?

Thanks guys if you actually sat there and read my wall of text. lol. I could really use some pointers in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated and i will certainly keep you updated with my results (that's if you want to hear my boring results lol)

Thanks again
