      serious problems!

      Hi

I'm kind of a cronic newbie at this been trying for quite a while now but I have not had a lucid dream for months now. I have two major problems I would appreciate if you helped me with.

      1. I do sometimes RC in a dream and become aware. The second this happens everything turns black (i dont see anything at all) and a very loud noise starts. It's a very metallic sound that repeats itself, sort of like when your computers soundcard freaks out At the same time its like a hook drags me to awakeness. I have been lucid successfully in the past so i now how to stabilize the dream and not to get to exited when you become lucid, but nowadays I dont even get that chance, the millisecond I become aware this happends. how do I tackle this?

      2. I have also been trying to WILD, I havn't had much success so far when I planned it but somethimes I find myself waking up a while before the alarmclock is supposed to ring. I'm then able to stay in that deeply relaxed state when the hypn. hallucinations go wild. The problem now is that I have a kind of wierd halucination, or at least I hope its a halucination! It feels like someone is grabbing hold of my jaws and start grinding my teeth together with great force. The thing is that I grind my teeth for a fact, so ofcourse I get very worried that I'm destroyng my teeth (I can literally feel the teeth SCRATCHING forcefully!!) and wake up.What do you think? is it a hallucination or should I worry?

Sorry for the long post, hope you have the time to give me some advise Its been several months since I LDd and I'm getting very frustrated

Welcome to DreamViews . I never actually herd this before but I think I know whats happening. As soon as you become lucid your subconscious goes blind. When that happends you brain wants to get out of the blindness so it wakes up. I used to have the same problem until I watched this video about curing lucid dream blindness. The link can be found here Lucid Dream Blindness Video. I hope I helped and good luck.

Do you feel or teeth ginding becuse if you do it's probaly for real because teeth don't have nerves in them. If you just hear your teeth grinding it's just SP HA for sure.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Grinding your teeth is very common. Tons of people do it, and most are not aware. Just get a mouth piece so you don't have to worry about it. You can't really force yourself stop. You have better things to worry about while you sleep, like having amazing dreams.
