Thnx for your advice! So after posting this thread last night, I started reading on lucid dreaming techinques and found out I'm sort of a natural WILDer (although sometimes a gain consciousness in the middle of a dream, but just naturally, without doing reality checks or looking for clues). So last night I decided I was going to try to WILD during the night. And it turns out I did wake up (withouth alarm clock) several times and tryied WILDing but I guess I was too asleep as I always ended up submerged in the dream realm again, I do remember 2 dreams though. So I guess I'll continue practicing this and let you know the results later!
Still any extra recommendations are welcome! 
PS. Reading the dream recall tutorial, I now realize maybe high levels of stress during the last months where affecting my dream recall! Interesting...
