      Did I almost WILD???

Last night I went to bed at about 11pm and woke up at about 4am by alarm clock then waited a bit and then layed down letting my body relax and focusing on my breathing after a while as I drifted off with my eyes closed I started to see images form but they were very blurry and unclear and instantly after I noticed that i might be WILDing the images stopped forming and I woke up.

So did I almost lucid dream???

Well it's kind of hard for us to tell. What's your opinion? Did you almost WILD?

It sounds like your doing everything right. Just keep doing what you're doing, and eventually you'll get a bit of a shock

I feel like I was because I have never had blurry and unclear images form while trying to sleep and when I actually tried last night with the intention to lucid dream the unclear images formed for the first time

Did you feel any SP? Not everyone does.

      Who knows!! Keep trying

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

If you feel you were making progress, keep practicing the same technique. It might take a few times before you get a full blown WILD.

You are definitely on your way to a WILD. What you experienced is hypnagogic imagery. When I WILD they usually start off pretty blurry, and sometimes stay that way for a while. What you should do when you start seeing it is to try to imagine everything brighter, or think of brightness. Try to look at your hands, and if you feel like they weigh a ton, that is SP and I don't fight it, I just try to float around.

It's obviously hard to explain how to do any of these things, but one thing that seems very important is that you can't stress about it and try too hard. If something you are trying to do isn't happening, don't do anything. I know you may at first feel like this is a waste of a lucid dream, but what will happen is you will get the 'feel' of how the WILD works and you'll be better able to do what you want with it.

For me SP feels like my body has weights on it. Or like a pressure on throughout my body. For your first time WILDing I would suggest not trying to move much or at all, but again, try to be relaxed about it

My suggestion, and you may already do this, is that if you do "wake up" after having the imagery, stay relaxed and try to think nothing of it, this is just the normal process as your brain is getting used to this strange state of consciousness. One thing I do is try to search for something when I see the imagery.

      Hope this helps!

Sounds like you were kinda close. You don't always "feel" SP. But sometimes you arent in the perfect state to WILD, it's a crapshoot until you're exerienced.
