      Right where i belong :)

Hello! I just posted my first LD since i was a child in the LD section not even seeing that there was a newbie section...

I was never really big into forums but this is really cool. I can sit here all day and read about peoples dreams and thoughts about dreams because no one in my life really understands my passion.

When it comes to me dreaming...I try very very very hard to even REMEMBER my dreams. I had a lot of LD's when i was a child that i obviously didn't think anything of then but i still remember now. I read incredible things that have been done in dreams and i'm just wondering if that could ever be me. My dreams are my home away from home and i look forward to them every night. But it seems the more i think about it - the less i remember. I know i have the ability but i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong! Why can't i remember

But anywho...I'm happy to be here! Even reading posts of others satisfies my interests. I'm not alone and i'm not as weird as others seem to think!

Hi and welcome to DV! It's a great place for misunderstood people I have no idea why people don't see the potential of dreaming, but you clearly do. For the recall part, keep a DJ every day and write down stuff you did before bed, hours of sleep. Anything that can have an impact on your recall. You will start to see a pattern soon enough. What I think though is that you try to force the memory of the dreams. When you wake up, just lie completely still and almost let yourself fall back asleep. Watch the darkness of your eyelids and just wait for them, trust me, they will come.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask here or in a PM!

Good luck, and keep on dreaming!

Hi and welcome to Dream Views! There is a lot of great information, and some really good dream journals to read (although I think all dream are great lol).

For the recall part it might sound a little strange but for me the less I try to force my recall and force lucids the better I can recall my dreams and have lucids. I think it is the whole trying to hard thing or something, but you might want to try this. Of course I still do the occasional reality check during the day, but I do not have the time seclude type of thing doing for them. I also do not have a set induction technique I use.

IDK just a thought lol Again welcome to DVs this is a really great place and we are happy to have you.

      Take Care,
      D.G.
