That isn't true. Everyone is different, myself being an example.

But anyway, the more frustrated you get and the more doubt you manifest, the more counter-productive you are being.
Do the checks often, implement the habits you need to, and stay positive, but don't let Lucid Dreaming run your life. Have you ever done a jigsaw puzzle or worked on learning any new skill?
Sometimes, you have to ease up on it a little bit or even take a couple nights off of thinking about it for best results.
