I do not think so. If anything a conscious effort to get to the future through a normal LD might actually work better.

In an OBE/AP if you go to a specific place that you have never been to before, say a street in your neighborhood that you never went to, or a distant town you never visited, or anywhere, then after waking up you go to the same place in real life. You will often find that what you saw in the OBE/AP and what you see in RL will be the same, unless someone changes them between OBE and going there in RL.
