Also, another thing is how do I supposed to remember to lay there and try to recall my dream when I wake up? Especially like "Phantom Wiggling", I am a deep sleeper and I don't think that I could just wake up and lay there and recall my dreams. |

I've gotten near Lucid Dream, but now I haven't had a dream in nearly 3 days or so. I actually have I remember one thing from it that seems familier... but I just can't remember it. Any special techniques I should use on remembering my dreams? Especially when you wake up from someone, turning on lights, yelling, and dragging you out of bed. |

I will speak from experience, it is very hard to remember anything when you are being woken up by yelling, lights turning on, and getting dragged out of bed. The best time to recall your dreams, is as soon as you wake up. When you get woke up in the morning, try to ignore everything going on around you and try to remember your dream. Then write it down on paper as soon as you get a chance. Keep a notebook and pencil beside your bed. You could try drinking some apple juice or eating some peanut butter before sleep to try and help with recall/vividness issues. The easiest way to recall dreams is to set alarms throughout the night, wake up and immediately write them down. You mostly dream during the REM periods. The idea, is to wake up in between REM periods or towards the end of them. This way the dreams are still fresh in your mind and won't be lost/overwritten in your memory throughout the night. Usually an alarm after 4 hours of sleep, followed by one 2 hours later, and then in 1 hour increments for the rest of the sleep period. If you can't have loud alarms, you could put a cell phone in your sock and have the alarms set to vibrate. You could also try drinking a lot of fluids before bed, you will wake up naturally to use the restroom. |

Thanks for the tips, I guess I'll need to try to remember to lay in bed trying to recall my dreams. Haha |

No problem! Recall will build over time. Just keep practicing and I'm sure you will be fine |

Do you have to be on a good schedule to remember dreams, I could remember dreams easily now it seems as though I don't even have dreams anymore. |

I think a good schedule can't hurt your ability to recall dreams. I find that when I'm stressed, my recall significantly decreases because of the break in my typical sleep schedule, I sleep uneasily, therefore I can't recall the dreams I had very well. But thats not to say that you can't remember dreams whenever you sleep, regardless of a good schedule. Just as long as you get into the habit of writing them down, reading them over before bed (I find this helps with recall as well) and reality checking, you should be able to recall your dreams quite frequently. Although, of course there are days when I simply do not remember my dreams, even if I'm on a great schedule. Just doesn't happen for me occasionally. Hope this helped. |

I don't have any sort of particular sleep schedule, but I haven't for years. My body is used to more random sleep patterns I suppose. It definitely won't hurt to have a regular sleep schedule, but it isn't required by any means. I don't have a job currently, just have classes. Even when I did work, I worked swing shift, so there was no solid sleep schedule there either. |
