I think you should try mantras or power of suggestion. Your subconscious can accept many irrational thoughts. You can reach your subconscious easier through relaxation. I think this technique is self-hypnosis? Relax using meditation and/or binaural beats, whatever works best, just reach a deep level of relaxation. Repeat an affirmation to yourself out loud. Repetition is key! I've used this method to help me with my fears and it works great. Also, use mantras during reality checks. I've found that asking myself out loud "Am I dreaming?" during a reality check causes me to be consistently aware of my surroundings. Best of luck! |
