Dream Objects?

I've read about dream objects and bringing them back with you from your dreams. But what exactly is a dream object?? I dont mean just an object in dreams, but what does it mean when someone say ""Your" dream object. Also, in anticipation for my first LD, ive been thinking.... Is it possible to plant some kind of "object" in my first LD that i can look for to help become lucid in other dreams like a giant flag or "bat signal", like your own dream sign you consciously leave behind in your dream, and does this have anything to do with dream objects??

Dream object? Hmm Look at this quote in my signature In my dream I had that experience, I dreamed about some button and when I woke up I was holding that button (It was false awakening) I don't think it's possible to do something like that in real life, because when you dream, it's all your imagination. Try now to close your eyes and imagine that you are holding something in your hand. When you open your eyes will it be there?
