Newbie, with a few questions.

Hello, whoever is reading this. Before I ask my question, I want to lay down a few things about my dreams.
-I've been having these dreams with the same group of people for months now
-Other people close to me have similar dreams with the same 'dream characters'
-It feels very real
-Sometimes these feel like memories
-I remember everything the next day

Okay, so my question is, can someone you meet in a dream exist here, in this life. I'm reluctant to say real, for many reasons. I want to find this one person who has been showing up in my dreams for a long time, his name is Andy. I was talking to him just last night, and he told me he had nightmares about this whole...place, world, reality, whatever. I'm starting to think now, can I find him here? Does he really exist? I just want a few opinions, thank you in advance, please keep in mind I'm new at this.

There's a theory that the human brain is not capable of creating new faces, so every DC in your dreams is an actual person you've seen at one point in your life. If that's the case, then Andy is a real person, you just may not remember where you saw him.

That's a really interesting theory, especially since there's been hundreds of DCs. I just hope the face goes along with the actual person, and that I can find some way to contact them. But I guess that goes into shared dreaming?

Hmmmm..... I always wonderd where all those faces that populate my dreams come from. first I though they were mainly self creations but the face count grew and grew so I'm leaning towards the idea that they consist of a little of every face you've ever seen since birth. If true the brain can't create them then I guess it's the latter because they are so detailed they must be a reprint of the negatives in your memory...I also had a couple of strangers that have become freinds over the years in reacurring dreams.
