By the time you get out of bed and start your day, your dreams will most likely be long gone. Keep a notepad next to your bed, so you can scribble down a few notes the second you wake up. It has to be the first thing you do. You don't have to write anything long or involved. Just a few key words, images, places, or emotions will work. |
So for example, Lets say i was in a dream that was based in a city filled with snow and i was going to a random office building. |
That'll do. Later on I look at my notes and I usually remember the details, from there I can go on to writing a more detailed journal entry on my computer. If it's good I'll put it on my online DJ. |

I don't think that having ADHD affects your ability to dream. Just try to make sure you stay motivated for a longer period of time. To get good at this you need time. Also you don't 100% have to write things down, aslong as you recall them in the morning you can always think about them over and over to make sure they "stick". Although it's very easy to forget details or what the dream was about in the first place, and a small keyword is all it takes for you to start remembering what you were dreaming about. So just scribble down a few notes. |
