      Hey! Newbie here :)

Hey guys just made my account.
I Would like to say hi to the community and see if any one has any tips on how to have LD's (I Do have a dream journal but it's often hard to fill out since 5 out of 7 days i wake up at 6:00 and need to get ready for school right away, so my dream recall is always fine when i wake up but by the time im outa the bathroom around 6:30 ive forgotten my dream but im pretty sure i'd remember to keep my LD In my head when i woke up )

I Think ive only had one LD And it was when i was 6 or 7. the details are fuzzy but i remember that i could start flying when ever i wanted but i couldnt go really high. then i went to my dad and told him that i could fly so i jumped and flew a little but then i went right back down, so i tried to do it again and slowly lost my LD

Anyways just wanted to introduce myself!

PS: If any one knows anything about this: I have ADHD does this affect my ability to LD or anything?

By the time you get out of bed and start your day, your dreams will most likely be long gone. Keep a notepad next to your bed, so you can scribble down a few notes the second you wake up. It has to be the first thing you do. You don't have to write anything long or involved. Just a few key words, images, places, or emotions will work.

So for example, Lets say i was in a dream that was based in a city filled with snow and i was going to a random office building.
Would this be fine: Snow, City, Office, Peaceful (I love Snow)?

That'll do. Later on I look at my notes and I usually remember the details, from there I can go on to writing a more detailed journal entry on my computer. If it's good I'll put it on my online DJ.

Some people use a voice recorder to record notes. That might be easy if you already have one. If you wake up after a dream you can record notes without needing to turn on any lights.

I don't think that having ADHD affects your ability to dream. Just try to make sure you stay motivated for a longer period of time. To get good at this you need time. Also you don't 100% have to write things down, aslong as you recall them in the morning you can always think about them over and over to make sure they "stick". Although it's very easy to forget details or what the dream was about in the first place, and a small keyword is all it takes for you to start remembering what you were dreaming about. So just scribble down a few notes.
