      Controlling lucid dream

Hi, I think that I have been lucid dreaming for years, but I did not realise that this was common or that it was something people wanted to do. When I am in a lucid dream my first instinct is to try and wake up, but I can't. I can't open my eyes. Does anybody know how to control waking up from a lucid dream?

      Hi, welcome to Dreamviews!

Sometimes it's not easy to wake up from a lucid. Since you're dreaming, your non-physical eyes are probably already open. If you will your physical eyes to open, there's a good chance it won't work. Try closing your eyes and imagining yourself waking up in your bed, while thinking about your physical body. It may lead to a false awakening though, so be sure to do a RC and maintain awareness of what's around you. Even if it wasn't successful and you're still asleep, you can start a new dream and do some cool stuff.

Lucid dreams are incredibly versatile, though, so why would you want to wake up?
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Jerk... I'm working my butt off to have a lucid dream, and you purposfully try to get out of them

But now that you know they are good things you better make sure to do some awesome stuff to make up for not abusing your awesome gift earlier in life.

Don't know anything about lucids so can't really help you, but my tip is don't try to wake up. or else hehehe

What makes you want to wake up from them? Are your dreams pleasant?
