You could do a short meditation session before you go to sleep. I've found that sore eyes are often remedied by 10-15 minutes of void meditation. This is basically where you get into a comfortable position, close your eyes and try to clear your mind. You can do this by either focusing on your breathing, breathe in, breathe out, etc, or you can just focus on nothing, allowing thoughts you get to pass through your mind, but not dwelling on them.
